The Brand Value Ranking is an annual ranking as per the Marketing Association of Uzbekistan, which reflects the results of brand value estimation. This ranking is deemed international.
Methodology for estimating the brand value.
The Marketing Association of Uzbekistan employs its peculiar methodology to calculate indicative brand valuation that encompasses several parameters, including the company’s prospectus long-term revenue (or net interest income in the case of banks), royalty rate estimation, discount rate calculation, presence of brand attributes, and other parameters. The estimations are carried out by experts from Gafurov, Kardash & Partners (www.gafurovkardash.com) — an independent investment and consulting firm.
Limitations of the methodology
The brand value represents a unique recommendation from the Marketing Association of Uzbekistan used for comparative analysis of brand’s intangible worth. The brand value estimation is intended for reference purposes only and is solely of the use within the context of the aforementioned ranking. The Association bears no responsibility for any use of the results beyond the purposes stated above. This brand value estimation does not constitute a valuation practice in accordance with the current laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
